Kerry takes message to inauguration
Democrat emphasizes 'never retreating from core convictions'
WASHINGTON - Sen. John Kerry, who had hoped to be taking the oath of office, mingled with senators of both parties on President Bushs inaugural stage Thursday shortly after sounding a note of defiance.
Democracy means working together for the good of our country; it also means keeping faith with your ideals, never retreating from core convictions even as you work to find common ground, the Massachusetts Democrat said in a statement released earlier Thursday.
We have strong differences and we argue and fight with all our hearts and energy, and our system endures because we Americans expect nothing less, he said.

Kerry doesn't know he's already in Dukakisville.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (and my finger is pointing too!)
That is, assuming you have any. I'm sure we're all waiting with bated breath (or baited breath, if you had sushi for lunch), for Kerry to develop some.
John Kerry -- a vapidity wrapped in a vacuity wrapped in a platitude.
As I was walking up the stairs,
I met a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today,
I wish that man would go away!

Maybe someone in France cares what Kerry thinks. Maybe not.
they caption Specter as a democrat. --- might as well be.
"Also seen are Sens. Arlen Specter, D-Penn., and Max Baucus, D-Mont."
I know--I thought that was funny.
You lost! Get Over It!! GO AWAY!!!
A French restaurant, no doubt.
They should have changed the word wine to Whine. It would have been more appropriate!
The first requirement of "Core Convictions" is actually having a CORE, you soulless twit!
My understanding is he gave two speech - the second speech contradicting the first.
I should be amazed, but given Kerry's behavior leading up to this, I'm not. This guy is something else . . . even Al Gore, who had much more cause to do something like this, didn't. Pretender to the throne attitude is so unbecoming, particularly with the likes of an unappealing character like Kerry.
