I'd expect more concern over this than is being shown on this thread. Civilians in ME countries were dancing on the streets on 9/11. Being somehow pleased that this threat is in Boston is just as sick. If there's any time to joke about this, it's after the area has been secured and people are safe.

It is a local joke. There are worse comments that the one I made said daily. Of course I wish no such trouble or terror on any of our citizens or good and decent people but Lawrence has a smaller proportion of such people than any place I know.

The Boston Herald has done a series of pieces dealing with the possible hazards of shipping containers, along the Northeastern-Metroliner corridor, which could be used as conveyances for nuclear material.

I'm always skeptical of people who believe that they can predict what the next move of these lunatics will be.

Personally, I think that our homeland would be a lot more secure if we could get some decent, Arabic-speaking FBI agents.

I would prefer Mizrahim and Eastern Rite Arabs, rather than foreign-born Muslims, whose loyalty to this nation is dubious, at best.
