Dean gets my vote.
I wish I could watch !
Clinton tried to imply that around 100,000 had visited the library. National Archive says it is more like 42,000 [and even that figure may be inflated, per some reports].
I asked because I was responding to your post #28 :
What a committee...is this the best we can do?
So I just asked. I did not see the RINO comment in there, just about the committee in general.
a better question is whether skerry will even be there. I guess he will, since the cameras are.
"Obama is so marginal and not extraordinary, it's a hoot to see the fawning over him as if he's brilliant when in fact it's all due to his skin color. The dems really are vile and pathetic, using race as they do."
He is well-spoken and Black. Like Harold Ford. That's ALL they need to shove him out front like a mega-star. Unlike Ford, though, who could not get by his own state of Tennessee, Obama has a lock on Illinois forever. They are salivating. They don't need anymore than this.
I think it shows, though, that they know Colin and Condi have made an impact on this country, and it worries them for the long haul. Otherwise, he would more likely be left sitting in the back of the Democrat bus.
I look for this hearing to be a clone of the 9-11 Committee...allot of grandstanding by the panelists without eliciting much data or detail from Dr. Rice.
Godspeed Dr. Rice.
I think Harold Ford is more impressive than Barack and deserves the attention and press he gets (not to be confused with agreeing or not with him).
Second that. Whatever happens, she will not look like a fool, while some members of the Committee most certainly will.
I figured Kerry would be there but thanks for finding that. He can't pass up the face time. I wonder if he got a French manicure to go with the facial?
Are you doing a teddyboy impression?
Yes, Lamar Alexander ran for president. Either 1988 or '92; I think it was '92. Wore the red flannel shirts.
3 RINOs out of 10 committee members is too many for my taste. But that's just me.
As well, Alexander has not impressed me previously and Martinez is untested. That being said, I would hope they have brushed up on their skills at asking questions designed to bring out the best of Condi's spectacular background.
Since when is College Station easy to get to?
Thanks for that confirmation. Condi in the room.
CSPAN is starting the hearing now.
We're going to here every detail of his trip to the Middle East. He's going to be insufferably patronizing to Dr. Rice. We'll here all about his visits with the troops, his meetings with foreign leaders, how he would have done everything better, etc.
Fox has it, too - for now.
