Eastwood Threatens Moore

Clint Eastwood has chillingly warned documentary-maker Michael Moore he'll face certain death if he ever points his camera at him. Picking up a Special Film-making Achievement prize for Million Dollar Baby at the National Board Of Review Awards dinner in New York on Tuesday, Eastwood urged the Fahrenheit 9/11 director to avoid making him the subject of a future project if he values his life. However, Eastwood - a staunch supporter of the Republicans - did admit he and Moore have a shared view of how American society should operate. He said, "Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common - we both appreciate living in a country where there's free expression. But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera - I'll kill you." And when Eastwood noticed the audience had erupted in laughter to his threat, he emphasized, "I mean it." However, Moore's representatives insist the comments were intended as a joke: "Michael laughed along with everyone else, and took Mr Eastwood's comments in the lighthearted spirit in which they were given."

"Micael, this is a 44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun made. I know what you're thinking, punk, did he shoot six bullets, or only five? Well punk, I don't really know. But you need to ask yourself, is this your lucky day?"

Oooops, this time an exact quote:

Harry Callahan: "I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

Drew Carey's a Libertarian too! :-)

Libertarians have no place in decent society.

Clint better be packing an elephant gun.

Encore: New, exceptionally strong and capable of enormous power. It is at least a pound heavier than the Contender, bigger and usually needs a trigger job to enable the shooter to achieve its excellent inherent accuracy. It is capable of handling pressures far higher than the Contender. The factory 308 in the Encore is about equal to the 309 JDJ ballistically but cannot be chambered in the Contender. In SSK Encore barrels, any cartridge with the case head size and pressure level of the 300 Win mag can be safely chambered. The 300 and 338 Win mag are reasonably popular, as is the 375 H & H. Increasing the case head size beyond this means you must reduce pressure. Cartridges such as the 470 nitro in factory pressure levels are acceptable to the Encore. The 375 H & H , 416 Taylor (416/458) and 416/348 JDJ are worth consideration for really big game, and the 500 Alaskan is popular as are several other 50s. The 458 Win. is OK but only acceptable to hardened shooters.

This ought to do it!

Mark

I thought he ran as a LIBERTARIAN. Does anyone know fer sure?????

Clint ran as a pubbie. I also read an interview with him and he said he was a Reagan man and he an Ronnie were good friends also. Is he die hard conservative? No. But he holds a lot of conservative views. Plus if you watch some old footage of Ronnie with friends at the WH Clint seemed to always be in the background.

Thanx for the info....in the past, I heard some of my libertarian friends heaping praise upon Clint. Regardless of whether he was a Republican or a Libertarian when he was Mayor of Carmel, CA, he is a hero to me.
