The only complaint I've got with it, is the waste of tax money it takes to slap that sticker inside the front cover of each and every science textbook in the county.
There are far better things that I'd rather see my tax dollars spent on -- and dealing with the overzealousness of school board members ain't it.
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
Regardless of your view on the sticker controversy, do you really want your local community's right to decide these matters forfeited to a federal court?
What does the sticker say?
"There are far better things that I'd rather see my tax dollars spent on"
Yeah, I live just north of you in Cherokee County and that ol' fiscal conservative Sonny Perdue just dropped a billion $$ yesterday on the GA state budget. Hopefully, some of that won't be going to any (R) pork.
As a science teacher, my biggest complaint with it is that it misrepresents the scientific meaning of theory, thereby demonstrating that the Cobb County school board doesn't know the difference between a theory and a hypothesis, and further ensuring that Cobb County students won't either.
And suing and getting a judge paid to get it out is not waste of taxpayer's money?
Much ado about nothing micromanagement. Obviously the judge does not have to pay anything, except getting credit for being controvercial.
