I for one am just fine with rules being applied to private property.

I am also fine with "censorship" on public airwaves.

I have no problem with regulations on porn and booze.

I do have a problem with categorizing people and shoving them out the door.

Most Kid Rock songs would not be appropriate at this ball (maybe he should not have been invited?), but he was invited and should have been able to sing an appropriate song.

He has preformed in mixed company before with little controversy.

Unfortunately for him, his reputation precedes him. When you glorify the rap lifestyle, you have to live with the fact that reasonable people will get upset.
