I understand their motivation but they've not listened to a Kid Rock song in a while.

I agree. We can't live under a rock, insulated from what might be offensive. I like him. He would have loved it and kept it 'clean'. I think people miss the point that this young conservative might be positively affected by his Inaugural celebration experience and become better for it.

An entire section of loyal Bush supporters are being alienated here. Let's call them the NASCAR section. They just want to have a good time and listening to Kid Rock is fun. Yeah, he can be raunchy but who isn't nowadays? JoJo??? She is a 14 year old who sings about love and relationships and other things 14 year olds have no business singing about. And most people attending the inauguration will be adults. Why subject them to children performers?

I like The Nuge. The Nuge isn't so squeaky clean either.

Word that the rapper will not join JoJo and Hilary Duff as performers
Boy, theyre really left with some happening exciting lineup!
Maybe they can entice The Brady Kids to reunite and add a little more edge.

Well, I know it's gonna make a few folks around here do the happy dance.
I'm not one of them, JFT.

This is BS, pure BS. Kid Rock supports our troops, loves our country, WTF????? Its not like Kid was going to be the only entertainer. Back in the 50's or 60's or whenever the old farts hated Elvis cause he shaked his hips. This is bogus. Kid Rock rules, he supported the President and the moral majority has given our opponents some more arrows to use against us.
To: Blzbba
When you say "our" who are you referring to? I'm not a Kid Rock fan, but I think one can be without being a morally deprived. Obviously the Bush Twins are fans. Do these "pro-family" groups believe the Twins have no morals?

BWHAHAHAHA
They had to drop the Partridge Family, too much of the devil back beat.
To: cyborg
Ted Nugent would be too much for this crowd, very disappointed Kid Rock won't be playing.

Goody! Maybe they can get Donny Osmond to perform instead... /sarcasm.
To: Blzbba
He goes against your moral values. To me he's just an entertainer and doesn't speak for my morals of values.

Maybe they should have got Stryper so all the GOP Jesus freaks would have been happy.

Really? I don't know many of his songs. He does profanity-laced stuff about abusing, injuring and killing women?
And if so, you're okay with that?

which caused several pro-family organizations to ask their supporters to protest his appearance.Whatta bunch of buzzkills. I guess the Republican party has its own "political correctness" wing..

I think most everyone does like the Nuge.

hey now...
I am a Jesus Freak and there is no way I am listening to Stryper..
A little Blindside or Project 86 would do nicely though.
