You WILL be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

What reality? You tell me what freedoms I have lost?

Don't be in such a rush. You'll lose them in due time, after all, how long has Briton been a member of the EU?

And when you do, it will have crept upon you incrementally and you won't even realize when and how it happened.

Denial ain't just a river in Eygpt, my British friend. Though if you aren't a conservative, I wonder why you like to hang out here. Do you like having your ideas smacked around, or are you open to THE DARK SIDE?!?!

LOL. Take care, friend, but I think you should also take the blinders off. When you get run over by the socialist train, don't say you weren't warned.

Cheers!

"It is not the nations versus the EU. The nations ARE the EU."

EXACTLY! Look, dude, more power to you and how you want to live, really!

By the way, have you read the constitution that your masters want you to vote on? Most Europeans I talk to haven't and simply repeat things they have heard about it. I HAVE read it and I would never consent to be governed under it.

But again, more power to you!

What freedoms have I lost? Tell me?

Can you purchase a pistol? If so, can you keep this pistol in the place where you and your family live. If someone breaks into your residence with your family home, threatens to kill them and or you unless you give them your ATM card and PIN and you shoot them with the pistol, can you be reasonably sure that your actions will be adjudicated to be in defense of your life?

I would caution your reply. I have made no accusation nor expressed any opinion. Each sentence ended with a question mark, not an exclamation.

BTW, I do believe the author outlined rather neatly some of the freedoms you have lost. You may not feel their impact on a personal level as yet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Just curious...how do you feel about this whole EU structure? The UK could give up some sovereignty here...so as to promote economic strength and expansion, correct? So far, the results of that elsewhere have not been pretty. And what of possibly losing the right to a distinct foreign policy? If the majority of the EU wants to do something that wouldn't necessarily be in the best interests of the UK, or even that doesn't agree with overall sentiment in the realm...how can that be a good thing? A little nationalism can be a healthy thing.

That's just an appetizer. :)
