It is amazing.

Also amazing is that every Southern Baptist missionary (and there are many) in each of the affected countries was alive and well and accounted for within 24 hours of the disaster.

Anyone still looking for God in this mess is looking in the wrong places.

God is also present with those suffering, such as those mourning the loss of 60+ kids living in a World Vision community in Sri Lanka. I'm not sure why some people died and some people lived. I just pray that those who lived can provide the comfort and love (and water, food, shelter, etc.) that these devastated people need right now.

But that's wonderful, isn't it?

Anyone saved from this natural disaster is fortunate, aren't they?

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! I pray they will baptize the death loving Muslims in the name of the Holy Trinity.

Thanks for the information. I don'
t live in Bluefield but still support my church there. I hadn't heard that all Baptist missionaries have been accounted for.

We have one of our own there. She and her husband are stationed on Thailand, but move around and can't tell us where they are at any point of time until they come home.
Baptist missions was on the list shown on Free Republic
so I sent my contribution to my church and specified for missions in the Asian tragedy.

So Christ loves the Asian Southern Baptist Missionaries as well as the Catholics of Santhome Cathedral...guess we should call a truce to any Catholic or Protestant bashing that seems to be ready to occur on this thread!

God looks after His people. He's not concerned about buildings. He's in the soul business.
