"This over identification with remote celebrities is a sufficient explanation for the massive emotional outpouring of sadness..."

Move it slightly to the right a bit.

The identification is of empty vessels with their power center.

As the Left's policies have failed and S-L-O-W-L-Y lost traction with the voters, these self centered people (in the religious sense of the term) experience massive frustration.

This election nonsense is a manifestation of their rage.

Another may be throwing in with America's enemies to attack America in the old fashioned, leftist way: terror bombing.

In the latter case I would hope that we have enough intelligence network to make it unlikley that amatuers could enter the 'chatter stream' w/o being bagged.

Sheesh! When I read just the headline, I thought this was about the stolen gubenatorial election in Washington state. But for these folks, I want to encourage them to keep this as their signature issue for the next election. I am convinced it well help them attain the level of influence they deserve.

I have brought stokes on by asking about jfk2's plans.

To the check his website answer,I would ask for just for the top three things that jfk2 would do. The universal answers were, jfk2 would do it differently (ok how?),more (means money?) and better(he smarter).

the anger over what they refer to as "the stolen election"

And, thus, Al Gore now has HIS legacy.

If these fools want to spend their time trying to prove the unprovable, their descendants will shake their heads and wonder how they got lost in so much hate for Bush.

But, there is more at work here than just the legacy of Al Gore. Our Republic is truly being shredded from within by the Democrats who have stolen elections for so long that the Democrat "faithful" refuse to accept the will of the majority. Stealing elections has been the Democrat MO for so long that, when Dems lose, they assume that the 'Pubbies are practicing their own version of the Democrat "dark arts". When a portion of the population sees election results with such a jaundiced and perverted approach, and the Democrat machine is clearly still in operation in WA state, our Republic and our voting processes are in severe trouble.

Sad to say, but we may be witnessing the last days of the Republic of the United States of America. The Dems aren't done and won't be until they have destroyed our methods of peacefully replacing leaders. We may begin to see a rise in political assassinations as the Dems try to force their will on us and turn the rhetoric of the Dem policitions into something that the rest of us will have to contend with.

This isn't just more Dem whining, this is evidence of severe mental issues that these people have.

Everytime I see this stuff, it shocks me. When did all this begin? I keep wondering where have I been that I missed the development of this behavior? I didn't notice it until it was full-blown. Has this been encouraged by some in society for some purpose, is it related to the age of TV, or is it just part of the general societal breakdown? I would appreciate any background on this as it is so alien to me. (And yes, I'm old, a Boomer.)

"While a two-hour debate raged on the floors of the U.S. House and Senate over the certification of the presidential election, more than 400 activists waited outside to learn which of their leaders would join their cause."

"Leila Atassi was an intern reporter last year. She's so green, she should be considered a piece of broccoli rather than a reporter."

You have to admire Leila's will to survive, though. Would you hand in a story that truthfully reported the crowd consisted of thirty females and three hundred and seventy pointy headed males, desperately hoping to get lucky.

"I absolutely could not believe he was conceding," Beckerman said. "And all over, we later heard that, except for the long lines, the election went smoothly in Ohio. Never mind that almost everyone in long lines had black faces or were in Democratic precincts." Beckerman wrote his election night experiences in an e-mail to friends, but within days he learned that his e-mail, which he titled "Basic Report from Columbus," had been circulating on the Internet.........

This screams of the dumbocRATs using the RACE CARD as their only hope. How shameful that all the MSM could not bring themselves to notice.

"We need paper ballots that people mark with X's" to avoid hanging chads, she said. "And counting needs to be done publicly and on videotape. We cannot have the votes counted by people who are committed to delivering the vote to the Republicans."

Enough said. Look at 2000, 2002 and now 204. Wait until 2006 & 2008.

I've gotta chill on all this election stuff right now. I just thank God the right guy won this election. I've got to save my energies for 2008 when Hildebeast runs. This election will be a piker compared to the coming inferno.

In the 1970s, he helped launch the grass-roots anti-nuclear movement and helped coin the phrase "No Nukes." He teaches history at Columbus State Community College and has spent most of his career speaking and writing against nuclear power and promoting trends in renewable energy.

I shall be sure make it a point to ask Engineering questions of the next History Professor I meet.

And if I ever need brain surgery, possibly my clergyman can do it cheaper.

"JFK, don't tell me that you are going to beat them at their own game...CREATING REALITY!"

These people are not only nuts, they are scary!

when I voted, I was second in line. I got there 15 minutes before the polls opened. By the time it opened there was about 40 people in line. My wife voted later in the day, around 5, and she had no problems. Maybe 20 minutes.

"It has been more than two months since President Bush declared victory"

"It has been more than two months since Senator Kerry declared defeat."

The sheer magnitude of the task of trying to overcome a 118,000 vote margin in the Ohio Presidential election should have told these people something. If that cannot be communicated, there is little hope of ever establishing a meaningful dialogue.

But of course "meaningful dialogue" is not the objective here.

I bet she doesn't get the nomination. That indictment of her bagman might be the opening round from her enemies.
