But the point of the article is that he *does* care, and if he does, his superstition over that stupid black rock will be enough to hold him in check, if he really believes we'll carry through on a threat to destroy it. (You could be right, but on the other hand, he really *could* be that dumb... religious fanatics have a way of being colossally superstitious, y'know...)

A second attack on the US also presents "unknown dangers" to the terrorists and those that support them. They think they are angery? they are lucky the US was forgiving enough not to use the nuclear option after 9/11. Another attack especially if its a WMD attack could be the straw that break's the camel's back.
If the people called for it, then so be it. Until then we stay the course and keep on eradicating terrorist threats around the world.
