I thought the Australians wouldn't even let as much a nuclear powered American vessel near their shores, much less a nuke explosive.

And Americans won't accept George W Bush being inaugurated

Don't confuse the noisy trantrums of a few Greenpleasers wih what Australian in general think.

HAW! That's got to be the dumbest idea to come out of the Middle East since Islam!

Not even the Soviets at the height of the Cold War possessed a nuclear weapon capable of causing a tsunami like the one on December 26. What was the equivalent force of the earthquake? About 1300 megatons? The biggest bomb ever tested was the Tsar Bomba, or "King Bomb", and its yield was "only" about 50 megatons.

Only minds poisoned by Islam's hateful piety could come up with such dreck and then publish it as news.

I believe that's New Zealand that won't allow US Navy ships carrying nuclear weapons. I could be wrong, though.

It's amazing how many claims can be discounted as pure BS when you sit down and crunch the numbers, isn't it?

;-D

While Indians can be pretty weird at most times,I don't think they are shameless to buy nuclear tech from someone to take on the Pakis of all people.Heck, even Uganda probably has better indegnious nuclear tech than the Pakis, unless we're talking bout Pakiland's transplanted Chinese arsenal.

They aren't claiming that the presumed blast CAUSED the tsunami directly, they are claiming that the blast caused the earthquake, which in turn caused the tsunami. Personally, I think it would be easier to build a 2.4 teraton device than to calculate how to cause an earthquake, especially one that would cause a 'targeted tsunami'. Maybe they think it was just an accident and that we didn't INTEND to cause an earthquake. In any event, these people will believe whatever pushes forward their agenda even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Which, by the way, is the definition of a religious belief.
