Stop the Bush Tsunami (Too Funny Ultimate Wacko Alert-Bush Bombs in Iraq Hurting Mother Earth!)
Napa Valley Register ^ | January 5, 2005 | Janie McDowell

Dear editor,

Well! I don't know if you heard or not, but we heard on late news last night that the most recent disaster is the biggest catastrophe in the earth's history and that it was so violent that it affected the earth's rotation and also time. Imagine!

For certain, Mother Nature is warning us to stop our bombarding the planet, in every way shape and form, mainly the weapons of mass destruction America is using on Iraq every single day. Doesn't our government realize that every time we bomb Iraq the explosion vibrates to the earth's core like a ripple on water? Does not the Bush administration know that for every action there is reaction? And the recent catastrophe is only a sample what is going to happen if "we" don't stop our daily attack on our planet! The law of cause and effect is a universal law and it will not change its nature to save or protect us! And that's why we don't jump off tall buildings because we know the universal law of gravity will not save us, but propel us to our death! Same difference! Are the American people brain dead!

And what about Bush only giving $3 million to Red Cross while asking for billions by the week in order to make more weapons to kill people, at the same time killing the life of our planet, including Bush and his partners in crime. I hold the Bush administration responsible for this recent catastrophe! Every day we bomb Iraq, the vibrations resound to the very core of our planet, the only home we know. The planet is responding and we're experiencing the effects. The next time it could be catastrophic for all of us! What can be done to stop this madness! Are the American people so blase and blind? What good will their three-story dingbat palaces, fast cars and up-to-the-latest fashion in clothes do them when they go flying off into space? The media is so controlled that people are not getting the truth of what just happened. Like I said, we heard it on the late late news how the earthquake affected our planet. It was not told on the early evening news when most people listen! Did you hear it? Bet not! My priority is stop the Bush administration from using weapons of mass destruction to kill people and our planet!

I really hope this was written by a very young person so there is still hope for them. It would be scary to think there are too many adults who think like this.

Truly, it would be far better to behead masses of people with machetes while driving their neighbors from their homes, like the good goblins of Islam do!

This nutcase & the others like him/her/it are just the reason we say it's Bush's fault. We jest, but this guy is serious.

This is my favorite line: I hold the Bush administration responsible for this recent catastrophe!

It's always Pres. Bush's fault...goes without saying - sigh!

Who does she think caused catastrophes before there were bombs?

Oh I remember...it's Pres. Bush's fault.

"We jest, but this guy is serious."

I believe it's a woman and she is, simply put, a freaking moron. Serious, but still a hateful moron willing to place blame on a man for an earthquake. Unreal.

The amazing thing about this is that there are Americans who are allowed to go out in public without a keeper, who actually think this way. Odds are, this is a public "skool" graduate. I just hope this person does not breed; the progeny would certainly be candidates for the Darwin Awards.

That's why I used the he/she/it in the first part of my post, but you are right, I should have been consistent.

I love the Napa Valley. Try to get down there a couple times a year. Wonderful place. It does, however, tend to attack an interesting segment of our population. Lots of holistic practitioners, meditation work shops, alternative lifestyle folks. It does add to the flavor of the place, but creates the echo-chamber effect that makes the loony left think they're the majority.

Gah. It disturbs me greatly how little understanding people have of the scale of things. The idea that a few thousand tons on bombs dropped nowhere special could be responsible for an earthquake with an energy equivalent to a few thousand *megatons* is equivalent to:

* Recent fear (expressed on FR, sad to say) that the Deep Impact probe, with its 800-lb impactor could divert a comet into an Earth-impact trajectory

* The few hundred kg of plutonium RTG on Cassini could kill every human on Earth

* We could change the moon's orbit substantially witha few nukes

* Dropping nuclear waste into the sun is easy

* Dropping nuclear waste into the sun would cause the sun to nova/supernova/shut off

* The James Bond villain shooting a 9mm hole in the side of a jetliner causing the jetliner to plummet from the sky complete with Stuka sound effects

Don't worry about the double posting. I just happened to see that earlier, and there are some great replies on that thread.

Seems to me this moron never heard of the atomic and hydrogen bomb testing in the 1950s and 1960s. Not to mention the millions of tons of conventional bombs dropped on all sides during WWII.
