what iran could do I think is wreck alot of shipping in the persian gulf - anti ship missiles hitting oil tankers, they could probably close the gulf for a short time.

Good. We have to take out Iran, and I am glad that our resolve has not weakened. Allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons would be folly, and there is nothing at this late point that we can do except to use military force.

Of course Iran will not be allowed to produce an offensive capable nuclear weapon - (why would you have ever expected they would have been able to do this....since GWB was elected in 2000?) -

However, Iran does not have a nuclear bomb nor is the military option the only option at this point (again, thank God for the leadership and seriousness of GWB and Rumsfeld) -

a standing army of 2.anymillion means nothing if they don't have the guts, the expertise, or ability to co:ordinate ... how soon would it be before thay start tossing ten year olds into the mix? ... probably that would be smart in their case with our media reporting on us fighting pre-teen terrorists

They were massed in one place, well mapped out by satellite, in the open...

The terrain in Iran is slightly different, if they massed in the mountains, we would have a more difficul time

Also, Saddam waited for us to attack, if Iran massed, they might actually have the smarts to not wait.

Whiel I am sure of our victory, we may have to use a tactical nuke or two to stop them, due to the sheer numbers.

Logistically, we can shut them down with surgical strikes on their supply line, tanks cannot run without gas!

But, we are not presently set up to do such thing.

If Iran just decided to go, we wouldn't have anything able to counter for a week, not in numbers anyways.
