OOPS!

Looks like Angelwood was first! Not me!

This is a great post. Ann Coulter is really nice and down to earth. I met her briefly at Drudge's Press Club Luncheon - she was his guest. You took great notes.

For the life of me I simply cannot recall when I first heard of Ann. Likely it was on the NRO site, but I really do not remember. I'll never forget her column from just after the events of 9-11! "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them....." Gosh why can't we get men (call me a chauvanist) who think this way to represent us in Congress?

I do remember that I was quite anxious about reading her book Slander a couple of years ago. When it first came out, I had a difficult time finding it in the book store, but eventually I found a copy. I actually read that book in a 72 hour period. I mean I picked it up and flew through it.

Later, I decided to look up a few things which she mentioned. One of those things was the FR web site. I was astonished that I'd never run across the site before.

Reading her columns is quite amusing. Often I ask myself " why didn't I think of that?" I am just a sucker for an intelligent caustic wit. Ann has all of that!

I hope that I do not miss your thread tomorrow with candid images. I'd appreciate a ping!

Thanks!
