I saw that China is up to $60 million, and I wonder about the Arab nations. Is there a sinbgle chart that tells us what is going on?
So will the ACLU demand that all those giving out aid packages refrain from making statements like "God bless you" to the victims? I mean, we don't want them prosletyzing on the government dime, right? And let's make sure that there are no "USA" markings on the bozes, as that will make the victims feel a lack of self-esteem that the evil USA had to come and help them, I mean, it's not like they can't do it themselves and have to rely on the capitalist Americans to...etc.etc. etc. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
bozes = boxes (burp)
does this only include cash? Does it include the US Navy and US aircraft that are helping out? The media never counts this in their estimates
The government uses US AID, initials are USA... heh
USAID it! Doh!
lol
ummm...I know I have been away for a while...but, how many countries came to the aid of Floridians when massive hurricanes hit? I have tried to 'google'...but have come up with nothing...could it be just that it is so obscure..or ZERO?!?!?
best I could find in a 'google' after reading your post...

Saudi Arabia is sending 50 Korans to Aceh.
They don't need to.Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim nation-they will have plenty to give in Aceh,which is part of their territory.

I LIVED in Aceh for four years. I have also lived in Saudi Arabia. I know both places probably better than you do.
I own a home in Indonesia and just returned from there today.
The fact is that Saudi Arabia has funded their filthy hate-spewing madrassas to the tune of billions of dollars. For their co-religionists in Aceh, they are now making avialiable $10 million, 1/35 of the amount pledged by the United States.
That's why I made the sarcastic remark that Saudi Arabia was sending 50 Korans. It was a JOKE, man!

"Mr. Blair's [UK] government has pledged nearly $100 million in humanitarian assistance, and private donations have outstripped even that amount...Currently, the British public has given around $120 million, and that figure continues to rise."
Generous Free-People Power! Happier New Year!
Ive not been to Indonesia,but Ive lived in Qatar(& been to S.A & other countries) for close to 10 years.While the folks there might be fanatic of spreading the good word around,they are not loose with their resources.
