American citizen Medea Benjamin, a leader of the anti-American group Code Pink, announced in Amman, Jordan this week that Code Pink, it's parent group Global Exchange and Families for Peace have donated $600,000 in aid to the 'other side' in the terrorist haven city of Fallujah in Iraq.
This news, which has been ignored by the media worldwide, was reported by Agence France Press but was picked up by only two small news outlets:
"I don't know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine ... for the families of the 'other side'," said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of Global Exchange, a human rights group.
"It is a reflection of a growing movement in the United States ... opposed to the unjust nature of this war," she said.
"This is the positive face of the American people which we would like to show ... so that we are not looked at with animosity but with love. Our hearts go out to the people of Fallujah and to all the Iraqi people," she said.
Medea Benjamin and those working with her, opposed the liberation of the people of Iraq from the brutal reign of Saddam Hussein. They call themselves human rights activists, yet they support the worst human rights violators in the world from Fidel Castro to the terrorists in Fallujah.
With American troops in harm's way in Fallujah, Medea Benjamin's proud admission that she and her cohorts are giving aid to the 'other side' should be grounds for her arrest for treason.
Code Pink along with their anti-American friends International ANSWER--whose leader Ramsey Clark is one of Saddam Hussein's defense lawyers--will be protesting President Bush at his Inaugural Parade on January 20, using permits issued by the U.S. government.

Support For Amalia Gonzales WATSONVILLE A Sacramento lawyer, feeling sympathy for Amalia Gonzalez, whose son Victor was killed in Iraq, will pay for Gonzalezs trip to Jordan, where shes buying medical supplies for Iraqi refugees. Stuart L. Smits, 55, has been following Gonzalezs story in the Sentinel and felt compelled to pay for the $2,000 humanitarian excursion, which Gonzalez, a migrant worker-turned-travel agent, charged to her credit card.

What you want to bet he is a Democrat?
I have just sent hand delivered letters to my congressman and new Senator asking why these people are allowed to run free when the are supporting the enemies of the American people. I used to send email but as far as I can determine they do not read email.
Careful folks. There is a distinction between the many residents of Fallujah and the terrorists of Fallujah.
Kill it quick before it multiplies!
She should get the Rachel Corrie award for America hating..
Freeze their assets if they have joined forces with terrorists.
It should be regarded as any other terrorist funding front group. Shut down!
Some anti-war organizations are pushing for a boycott of war-related products this holiday season. Giving such toys at Christmas a holiday celebrating peace and goodwill sends the wrong message to children, they said.
"In light of all the violence in the world, the idea (of giving such a toy) is disgusting," said Claire Droney, a spokeswoman for Code Pink, an anti-war group that protests war-toy sales.

Is Code Pink required by law to make a list of its donors public?
Aren't these people funded by Soros and/or the Tides Foundation ..??
CODE PINK ACTION Campaign 2004
In pig snouts, protestors at the Republican National Convention root around in money outside the Hilton Hotel, where Halliburton, the defense contractor, was holding a breakfast for the Texas delegation.

They plan to protest at (no doubt they'll get inside, too) the Texas State Society "Black Tie & Boots" Ball on January 19th. And remember this... EBAY has many of those ball tickets for sale. Code Pink is flush with money from its leftist friends. They will be inside, I'd bet money on it.
Code Pink also says they will be along the parade route, and they mention die-ins and other disruptive actions.
If the US Secret Service and the MPDC and the US Park Police haven't figured it out by now, they better get a move on. It is beyond my comprehension to understand why the LEO leadership is allowing these groups not only to continue organizing and perpetrating treasonous acts against our country, but also to give them permits to continue their treason along the parade route.
The leftist traitors intend to cause as much trouble as they can, wherever and however they can; and they do not care who gets hurt.
Medea strikes again! She sure does get around and seems to have endless funds at hand. Thanks for finding this information.
I wonder if John Kerry will be joining them at their protest?
This is unfriggin believable. How much more of this traitorous behavior do we have to stand before someone, anyone grows a set and does something about assaults like this against our country and our soldiers?
"This is the positive face of the American people which we would like to show ... so that we are not looked at with animosity but with love..." she said.
What a complete idiot! Oh yeah, NOW the terrorists will no longer want to saw our heads off because of this positive face they're putting on our country... all they/we have to do is continue to be "nice" and bye-bye animus/hello love. Why didn't GWB think of that!
They are aiding and abetting the enemy - so therefore, they are the enemy too. These code pink people belong in jail.

Lysistrata
Night before last was the world wide Lysistrata event--over 700 performances of the play organized as benefits for peace organizations. Here in the Twin Cities, there were about 15 performances after which everyone gathered at a variety show that benefited moveon.org. MoveOn is the group that, more effectively than any other, has used the internet to galvanize the resistance to war in this country. Check them out if you don't know them already.
Written by Greek dramatist, Aristophanes (c. 447-c. 385 b.c.e.), Lysistrata tells the story of a woman who organizes a stand against war, getting women on both sides of a conflict to withhold sex from their husbands until the men agree to resolve conflicts through peaceful diplomacy rather than violence. REALLY? Just who is the OTHER SIDE?????
I agree. However, what do you think Code Pink's purpose is in this? Why aren't they giving money to the families of Iraqi National Guard and police killed by the terrorists? Instead the single out they terrorists' home base of operations in Iraq. There's a reason for that, and it's not because they love humanity.
Thanks for the post! Do you or have you an interest in Code Pink activities? My curiosity was peaked prior to the election. Thanks!
