Code Pink is referring to aiding the "other side". I'm willing to concede that they most likely wish to help regular Iraqis and refuse to accept that our military action is also there to benefit same. And I despise them for pretending we're not helping innocent Iraqis. Were it up to them the Iraqis would all still be ruled and terrorized by Saddam whilst he was in turn aiding and abetting terrorism all over the world.

cyn, I guess I didn't see it quite your way. I watched it live and watched it a second time from a recording. It appeared to me that for a split second, when the noise of the disruption first reached the President, a very brief look of startlement, perhaps fear, clouded his face. He quickly recovered, within a second or two at most, and then appeared relaxed and jovial. When I first saw that look in his eyes, I said, "I will NEVER forgive them for that."

I still don't. These people need to be in jail, not in attendance at events like the Inauguration.
