Two parents outraged over a homosexual awareness day at a Massachusetts high school were kicked off the campus after a mom began videotaping the event.
Newton North High School in Newtonville recently held a "Transgender, Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian Awareness Day." Students at the school were allowed to ditch classes and attend assemblies and workshops with titles such as "Out at the Old Ballgame" and "Color Me Queer." Presentations also included frank discussions advocating sodomy.
Parent Brian Camenker, who kept his son home that day, says the presentations by homosexual activists were bizarre and morally offensive.
"One [speaker] in particular talked about how [he considered] his older brother ... a role model [and how] his older brother came out as a gay boy -- and so he did that too," Camenker says. "And then he went on to talk about how he fell in love with his sister's husband."
Camenker and another parent were ordered to leave the campus and were threatened with arrest (for trespassing) after the other parent began videotaping the school assembly. He says they were told they had one minute to leave.
"It makes you feel like you're in Nazi Germany ... or a communist country because, you know, these people are bound and determined to indoctrinate people's kids in homosexuality, whether parents like it or not," he says. "And the idea that a parent could be threatened with arrest [is] absolutely outrageous. Believe me, this hasn't ended yet."
Camenker says he plans to complain loudly to the school committee and other parents.

I am smart enough to make my own judgment of the situation. Saying that this was mandatory when the article clearly states that it is not, is unacceptable.
Fact: Should the homosexual lobby get their way, along with the ACLU, Homo training/indoctrination will be mandatory.

You need to get up to speed. We're not rookies here. We know what's going on. Get educated!
Answer: They all have something to hide.
And when it comes to the gay agenda in the Newton Public Schools and its standard bearer, the annual "To Be GLAD Day" (Transgender, Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian Appreciation Day) at Newton North, the school department will go to extreme lengths to cover its tracks. They'd even risk an almost certain sequence of lawsuits from the parents whom they ejected and threatened with arrest, rather than let them videotape this high school gay forum.
But what causes educators to resort to such unsavory tactics in order to prevent a record of their gay forums from leaking out? What are these paranoid professionals trying so desperately to hide from the public view?
I'm not sure about this, but thought I read where the flyer discussing the date and time of this recent Newton North High School event was incorrect. If true, that would raise my suspicion level even more, especially if the date on the flyer was after the actual event. While I'm sure honest mistakes happen, when it comes to our kids and the homosexual agenda, I wouldn't put anything past them.
Our paper is a gay rag. The other one is somewhat less liberal, but won't touch this subject in any detail.
That said, what are gay programs of any sort doing in a public school? It's not the place for that.

I'd be tempted to make a joke about Barney the purple dinosaur and Teddy the Bear if this whole thing wasn't so sick. The next thing will be "tolerance" for pedophiles and axe murderers (the latter being the more preferable group).
The fact is homosexual agenda education/training has no place in public shools. There is no middle ground on this issue -either you want it out or you do not. Based upon your postings on this thread you are pro-homosexual agenda IF you want to indoctrinate your children into the disordered condition of depraved homosexuality do it on your own dime.
At first you did not 'believe' it possible -now you claim it was not mandatory? I have read through this thread and found nowhere said that [it] was mandatory. Is this a straw man or are one of us confused? Please show me where someone said this homosexual training in perversity was mandatory?
No you're not getting too old. I'm in my 40's and in my view subjects like homosexuality and "diversity" have nothing to do with education and should not be included in school-sponsored events. We need school choice badly--it's time to end the destructive public school monopoly.

When I first read this, I thought this must be a hoax, no school would allow a sodomite day, the parents and whole community would be in an uproar, the press would camp out at the school and teachers homes........etc.....
But wow to many maybe even most this is not just ok it's normal, it's good!
