You mean they want to be the liberal wackos welcoming the enemy as they are the first ones vaporized. This leaves the conservatives to save the planet......again.
This message is to Sprite518: An illegal war is one that is entered into by unconstitutional means. WWI & WWII were not illegal because Congress declared war as required by the constitution. Further, it is somewhat incorrect to say Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1 & 2 were illegal wars in that they really are not wars but military actions. However, they are somewhat illegal in the sense that Congress was too scared to declare War themselves, and instead took the easy way out by granting the President authority to use Military force. This may be said to be unconstitutional in that it is really an end around the congressional vote requirement that must be fulfilled to declare war. I hope this clears things up for you.
What can you get for a only dime anyway? Gum?

They may not be ready yet but I like the thought.
Let me get this straight...they are boycotting capitalism?
This is as stupid as those no-gas days. All that happens is people either buy gas a day earlier or a day later. Unless people stop driving or actually consuming, it has no effect.
Easy to combat if it statrts taking on "a life" so to speak. Just have those on the other side do their spending on January 20th.
"For 24 hours, please do what you can to shut the retail economy down. "
Why is it that with liberals it is always about money?
Actually this is part of a much larger boycott of actually using some intelligence.
Just more proof that the stingy Americans come from the left.
I suggest that they stop buying food, water, booze and drugs from New Year's Eve for the entire 2005 year.
Don't spend a dime in space!
Yeah, and don't breath any air that day either to help stop global warming? Starting at 12:01am begin holding your breath. You may exhale at 12:01am the following day. GO DUmmie, GO DUmummie, GO DUmmie! /humor
That is not the lib's argument. I note you signed up today, so are either a lurker or a lib yourself, but the lib's argument is based on language in the U.N. Charter and the lack or Security Council approval. Neither, or course, are valid arguments, but that is their basis, not anything related to the War Powers Act.
What??? You are paying 3 bucks for that leftist bilge-water at Starbucks? You do realize that you are thus supporting the Democrat Party, don't you?
Oh wow. Thanks for the info. I always wanted a Mac.
