ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A subway fire that gutted an underground communications room has crippled two of New York City's busiest subway lines, the A and the C, and full service may not be restored for three to five years, officials announced today.
The Sunday afternoon fire at the Chambers Street station was apparently set by a homeless person and is being investigated as an act of arson, according to Lawrence G. Reuter, president of New York City Transit."

It says this 'homeless' person had to break several locks to get into the room to start the fire.

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - Two alleged al-Qaida members accused of plotting an attack in Iraq were ordered by a German federal judge Tuesday to remain in custody pending possible charges.
The men, arrested Sunday in the cities of Mainz and Bonn, were ordered held after the judge determined there was sufficient evidence to detain them, said Hartmut Schneider, a spokesman for prosecutors. The two men appeared at a closed-door session at a federal court in Karlsruhe.
The pair have been identified only as Ibrahim Mohamed K., a 29-year-old Iraqi, and Yasser Abu S., a 31-year-old Palestinian.
The Iraqi allegedly trained at Osama bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan and fought American forces there. He is accused of recruiting suicide attackers in Germany - including the Palestinian - and providing logistical help to al-Qaida.
Authorities also believe he tried to obtain 48 grams of uranium in Luxembourg, but say they have no further information on that aspect of the case......

The "homeless" were also tagged for starting at least two other fires or explosions in the past year in NY subways...IIRC. It seems that illegals from China, N. Korea, Iraq...or any other hostile country could be considered "homeless".

Latest word is that there was a coolant leak. Plant is shut down. Everything is stable.
