"So, how are things going elsewhere in Iraq? Despite the fact that it's clearly uncool these days for people to ask "tough questions," even when they're asked to, some news is still leaking out."
This my brothers and sisters, is a prime example of a canned liberal introduction.
For example, according to the London Times, the US Army is "plagued by desertion and plunging morale" - apparently more than 5,000 soldiers have deserted since the war began, and "For the first time in a decade, the Army National Guard missed its recruitment target this year." The Times article goes on, "Experts are divided over how stretched Americas military really is. But they agree that another conflict would put the military in overdrive. Another war would require a shift to a 'no-kidding wartime posture in which everybody who could shoot was given a rifle and sent to the front,'
Why didn't you post a source? do you have something to hide?
"according to John Pike of GlobalSecurity.org." So we've all got that to look forward to."
ditto
"But hey lets keep on supporting Bush and the rest of the Neo-Cons as they continue to drive a wedge between us and the Arab world. Its good to know that the majority of Americans have no clue what foreign policy is or how to get along with other people. Just invade on trumped up changes and then pretend to be liberators as you rape and pillage a country under the banner of freedom and democracy. Im sure that Bush and Rove and his Mossad handlers are happy that there are web sites like Slave Republic out there to do their dirty work for them. I mean who cares if thousands of Arabs are being killed in Palestine and Iraq. Let Freedom ring!!!"
I agree, lets keep supporting Bush. Let us drive the radical terroristst of the world into hiding. Its a sad thing that the mainstream American left has abandoned America, I assure you that the right will not. It is a praiseworthy thing our president has done. He has deposed a tyrannical dictator, who has supported the wholesale murder of his countrymen. He has established equal rights for women in two nations of the Muslim World.
I say to you: God bless America, and God bless George W. Bush!
