I Love Potato Pancakes! I don't understand the derision people place on Latkes? They're like Southern Fried Hash Browns to me........

Although, I've always found it odd that some Christians think that alcohol is evil.

It is an odd thought, and it's contrary to the Bible itself.

Drunkenness is the sin, not having a drink.

...Grape juice at The Last Supper observance equivalent to RC Communion.

Well, its not quite an equivalant, as after the consecration it is no longer wine but, by product of Transubstantiation, it is the true body and blood of Christ. I have yet to find a Baptist who believes in an idea akin to this.

There must be a black market for purloined relics and artifacts attributed to early Christianity. I wonder what these shards would go for...

Comicus was pushing it. I think it was Elderberry.

I agree. I'm just saying, there's no basis on which you can legitimately deem one account of Jesus' life as a parable while holding other accounts in the same book as historical.

There was. It was called the Vatican. That's why Martin Luther forced the Reformation.
Calling all Borgia Popes, report to Hell immediatly!

I'm with you. My grandmother made great laktes. We put sour cream on them though..don't know if you'd want to do that to a mess o' hash browns..

Um, if they found the site of his first miracle, wouldn't they have to believe that a miracle was performed, and become Christian?

Are you on FR to attack Jews ?

"According to many Southern Baptists, it was water-to-grape-juice..."

Grape-juice at a wedding? At a Jewish wedding?

I'm not deeming anything. It's just something I thought about.

Well, by all means, do not let me thwart your progress. :-) It is by free meditation and reflection upon the eternal truths that we come closer to God.

Um, no. How is that an attack? Discovering the site of a miracle means a miracle occurred, doesn't it?
