Laura Bush is getting another Oscar.
Designer Oscar de la Renta, who outfitted the First Lady for her big nights at the Republican convention and the Kennedy Center Honors, will dress her for the inauguration.
Her office confirms the incredibly important news that the gown will be ice blue.
Meanwhile, daughters Jenna and Barbara have chosen the younger, edgier design team of Badgely Mischka.
"They want slinky and sexy," a spy tells us. "The dresses are going to be figure-hugging with slits and sequins and decolletage."
All of the ladies will be equipped with matching coats - to protect them as they bounce around from ball to ball.

I hope one day to understand how one makes the "leap" from Laura's ice blue dress to the United Nations. Probably the same thing that makes people sign up to post this

SHE'S 50 YEARS OLD! She needs to quit worrying about looking young.
I KNEW this town would corrupt her!
Exactly! At 50 years old she needs to wear her granny shoes, snood and shawl, like all old ladies are supposed to! Get her hearing aid fixed, polish up those false teeth and even take a big dose o' rheumatiz medicine before the ball.
geez, I think I'll slit my wrists now.

It is said, be it a threat or a false allegation, that Hillary Clinton is the "most intelligent woman in the world." Hillary said, "...in the building I work in..."
Her redundant usage of "in" proves that Hillary in the most dupicitous woman in the world, doesn't it?

I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe that anything anyone wears constitutes "incredibly important news."I do believe that was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, yet for those who put food on the table because people wear clothes, it is important news.

At least they both laughed about it. Imagine if he'd been a stuffed shirt. She seemed to take her cues from his laughter.

No freekin' kidding. That statement's so catty, I expected a horked-up furball for punctuation instead of a period.
Ya know, the reporter's the one who writing a story on the statement, and yet they're saying it's not important. That must mean THEY'RE not important, seeing as how they're they ones who were chosen to "confirm the incredibly important news". Perhaps they should get a real job instead.

I thought he handled it very well; he didn't make a big deal out of it, so it wasn't a big deal at all.

Blue has been misused in those maps.
Blue signifies loyalty.
