Hey, regarding "bigotry", the problem is Islamic bigotry. Everybody else is involved in nothing more than self-defense.

Have you ever examined that religion? It's exceedingly doctrinaire and legalistic. There's no room for human intervention or interpretation. This leads to horrible outcomes. For example, when they invaded India they had no "out" for the Hindus they encountered. Consequently they could never make peace and stop the violence. That continued the war for hundreds of years beyond any rational point.

The problem wasn't with the Hindus ~ it was with Islam itself.

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism." --- PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein on March 31, 1977

Please note the bold sentence (emphasis mine). Currently muslims aren't as candid at expressing their world view.
The significant thing here is the notion that islam is a "religion". The wording here makes it clear that it is not. Anyone who continues to believe that this is a "freedom of religion" issue is abysmally and suicidally ignorant.
