"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism." --- PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein on March 31, 1977
Please note the bold sentence (emphasis mine). Currently muslims aren't as candid at expressing their world view.
The significant thing here is the notion that islam is a "religion". The wording here makes it clear that it is not. Anyone who continues to believe that this is a "freedom of religion" issue is abysmally and suicidally ignorant.
I'm not particularly concerned with Palestinian issues ~ on the other hand, Islam was not just a religion. That's not news and has been known for 1400 years. Its designers felt it should encompass government, politics, military affairs, religion and society at all levels and for all time.
The Commies had the same idea about their rule. They called it Democratic Centrism. Except for the absence of God, Democratic Centrism and Islam are essentially the same idea about how to organize human affairs.
