I have a G4 800 PB, along with an iMac grape (daughter), 1.8 G5 desktop, G4 400 desktop (first release), and a bunch of older PB's, which I keep for posterity... My wife loves her G3 Wallstreet PB, and when I offerd to get her a G4 PB, she told me "no way"...she loves it. Of course, when I married her in 2000, she was a die-hard PC Windows user, and looked askance at my Macs. A few months later, she remarked to me "how do you get these things to crash?" She has vowed to never bother with a WinTel machine again...

I use my Macs for everything. If you want to play games, a $300 PC, sitting dedicated for that, is no different from an X-box or other gaming rig... For real computing, go MAC!

Not quite true, There are alot more games available for PC than there are for any of the game boxes, many for free.A $300 PC ain't exactly a gamer, unless you like really old simple games and have an old OS to play them in.Finally I can't stand the controllers that come with modern game boxes. There literally hundreds of PC games that can be played comfortably with nothing more than a mouse and keyboard.
