ATHENS (Reuters) - Greek police have surrounded a bus filled with passengers that had been seized by gunmen in the Athens suburb of Marathon, Greek police say.
The police said on Wednesday gunshots had been heard, but that they did not yet know who the gunmen were, why the bus had been seized or if they had any demands.
"The bus is stopped, police have surrounded it," a police official told Reuters.
Israeli media reports 25 people on bus.
Oh no. How sad. May God protect them.
How can this be breaking news when there's real important stuff going on like the Peterson trial and revelations that Bernard Kerik got laid?
Albanians appear to be armed only with shotguns.
Driver and ticket collector escaped.
Right now having tel. interview with woman who was in bakery in front of where happened.
The image is one of a Bus blocked on a road with police cars obstructing.

There's a reason the Greeks didn't want us supporting the Albanians in Kosovo....
Someone on this forum was insisting the other day that Albanians were never terrorists.
Only about a quarter of Albanians are active muslim. Another quarter are Greek or Albanian Orthodox or Protestant Christian. Half are atheist/animist. One group to worry about, though, is ex-communists.
These are commies, not Mohameddans (unless they're both...).
