As an atheist I find the ACLU's attempts at creating a secular society by force hilarious. So now they're suing to prevent schools from teaching all opinions on the origin of life on the planet? OK--then they'd better be able to prove in court that evolution is the 100% guaranteed truth, and no, I'm not talking circumstantiual evidence. OK, ACLU, put up or shut up.

Just as with their efforts to stop the education of abstinence as the BEST way to deal with certain problems, here the left are shutting down all debate now that they have the answers that satisfy THEM. So much for intellectual curiosity.

Famous Atheist Now Believes in God

It seems that anybody who now is going to make attempts to defend schools' right, and even obligation, to mention "intelligent design" theory as part of the science of life only has to refer to this man, now. As I recall, he states that the "origin of life" question is not necessarily related or opposed to the statement of whether evolution is or is not a correct scientific theory. It seems to me it would only be necessary to point out that statement to the court for a clear win, as it has nothing to do with religious position - simply is a question of root cause.
