Part of the hard work of civilization is teaching young to be able to distinguish between the good and the bad in all aspects of life. If we teach our young children to obey the 10 Commandments and to obey the laws of the land, but don't teach them to realize that Johann Sebastian Bach is superior to Dimebag Abbott, we have failed as parents and mentors. If a person has gone through 12 or 13 years of education and has not developed an appreciation for the greatest artistic achievements of mankind, that education has been an utter failure.
While laissez-faire is the correct approach to economics it has no place in the realm of aesthetics or morality. A confidant civilization imposes its morality and aesthetics on it young people. Yes, you heard it right. We impose. The Rousseauian noble savage is a myth. Left unchecked and untutored the savage will never attain nobility......

Don't hate em at all- just have absolutely no respect for them. I actually think theyre laughable. Ever see Jimmy Swaggart or Ernest Ainsley? The worst part is that they can con so many people.
Yup. He probably did.
Just for fun sometime, go get some Pantera sheet music (yes, it's out there.) Try to play it on a piano. Then, you might just realize how completely ignorant your statement is.
Nice fellow. The thing about keeping your ugliness inside is that it's thoroughly disgusting when you let it out, as does Mr. Grim.
He hasn't a leg to stand on with this one. I adore Tchaikovsky, but if being involved in a homosexual scandal with the royal family and deliberately drinking water contaminated with human waste and dying from cholera as a result isn't ugly, then I'm thinking Mr. Grim might hit the soft pedal on Mr. Abbott's death.
Mind, this does not mean I'm comparing Swan Lake with "F*****g Hostile," but in fact, I have both disks...
The guys at Guitar Center knew me by the name of "If You Aren't Gonna Buy That Martin 000-28EC Clapton Model, Would You Please Put it Down So Someone Else Can Play It?"
I'm sure anyone who is a fan of the guitar will.
I have heard that "Dimebag" was part owner of a topless bar.Any one know if that is true or false?
People are certainly able to speak in an uncivil manner even without using the F-Word. The author of this article, for example.
Well, that is your hateful opinion based in abject ignorance. We're all entitled to a few of those.
LMAO
And Madonna picked her name because she wanted to reference a motherly image and show her devotion to the Saviour!!
Amazing....
Yes, thats similair to what they started calling me AFTER Probie.
Luckily, I just get called "Chad" at the guitar store. Of course, I buy lots of stuff LOL...
Malmsteen rules!
He rules. Those million guitarists who followed, without the classical training, and began playing "solos as fast as possible for no reason" however, suck. ;0)
In part. Most apes join up with other apes. In other words, someone else finds good in it because of a likeness. In other words, art is not pure individualistic whim. Increasing subjectivity in art is very tiresome, even to the artist who makes it.
I would seriously consider the music emanating from B.B. King's guitar, Lucille, to be among the greatest classic music of any origin or era. Ol' Johann could never make an instrument sing like that!
Not to typecast, but some Euros do feel a sense of cultural superiority to Americans. And to everything else that isn't Euro.
