I can't say that the second and third viewings were quite as funny as the initial screening, but it's still one of the better mockumentaries out there.
I'll have to check it out. Chappelle does some funny satire on hip-hop too.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
that was CB-4... or Cell Block 4, where the fake gansta rappers said they met...
my favorite line was the when his little sister was reading a report...the grandma says "shut up girl, you think you sooo smart, just because you can read"
I look at the clothes in my 25yr old sons Maxim and men's clothes catalogs and we laugh at that style, looks so gay (fruity).
You can by worn out red jeans for only 55 bucks.
And the cords with the embroidered roosters all over them.
Then the wrinkled shirt under the vintage sweater covered by the worn looking plaid jacket.
Garnet Hill also is another one shrunken worn clothing that a poor farm girl in another country is shown wearing in the ad.
Looks like hippie lefty style gone poor farm organic girl. For very hefty prices.
I saw a vintage t shirt for 40 bucks and I could of sworn it's skiing graphic was an old worn out shirt my son owned when he was 12(now 25).
I was like look Hon, the shirt you wore all the time pre teen that I tossed in the garbedge has made it's way onto the trendy vintage over priced catalog.
I started saving his clothes a few years ago to have a quilt made if he passes on before me. Now I am thinking of resale value the hell with sentiment.
And all his clothes are in perfect condition, no foods stains, due to being g tube fed and sitting in his wheechair. The wash is the only wear they have.
They do have cool sheets for the bed in guy styles though.
Jeans and T's with local area logo's such as colledge football teams and tourist sites in our area or state always in fashion.
And living in fisherman/hunter coastal country and owning three Yellow Labs he is going to love the Columbia Sportswear shirt with hunting bird dogs (Labs) all over it is going to be a hit for Christmas.
CB4 as is Cell Block Four Yo!. UB40 were those crackas from the UK who sang that Red Win sh-t!
It was "CB4,", not "UB-40." The latter was a reggae group from England.
