You know what this is don't you? Remember John Kerry's claim of how the administration was refusu=ing to give our troops body armor? The one he totally ruined with his "I actually voted FOR the $87 billion before I voted against it" comment?

THIS is a spinoff of the "No Body Armor" election theme, nothing more.

There's nothing wrong with up armoring our own vehicles, we've been doing that since WWII

No one said it is wrong, but preparations and equipment adjustments are done in the field after an invasion has happened. When a call to arms comes some equipment may need outfitting on the fly. Rummy made that clear.

You go when told by the commander and chief and you orer parts and they catch up to you in the field.

The parts have been ordered and the vehichles will be retrofitted, in the mean time, reporters baiting Guardsmen does not excuse whiners.
