Well Tom welcome to the club. LOL You sound just like me when I had the "big one". Just hang in there and do what the Doc and the wife tells ya.

Please take care of yourself. I had a heart attack last February. I had a blood clot in the upper left ventricle of my heart. Through the grace of God and some fantastic medical attention, I am absolutely fine and have experienced no permanent damage to my heart.
You are so right about the sweating. I looked like someone threw a bucket of water at me. My pain was in my upper left shoulder, which is very common for women.
I know that you will want to do a lot right now, but do what the docs tell you. Your heart has gone through a massive trauma, don't try to do too much, too soon.
We are blessed to live in a place in time where there are incredible drugs and medical procedures available. And more than anything, God has kept us on this earth for a reason.
I am praying for you and your family. Please let us know how you are doing.

Thanks for the update, Tom.I'm kinda worn out right now, so I think I'll go lay down and think about the 8 cartons of smokes my wife threw out today...;-)
I gave those up March 16, 1983, at 7 p.m. That was the day my life changed from a sedentary lifestyle to one that includes (revolves around, actually) regular exercise. I work out at Bally's 5 days a week. I currently jog 10 miles per week.
You will give them up only if and when you are ready.
If you get to that point, I can share a few tips that helped me when I laid them down. :^)
