On the 63rd anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, President Bush flew to Camp Pendelton, California and back again to speak with the Marines, and thank them for their service and great sacrifice, but made it clear that the War on Terror is not over. After his public appearance, the President met privately with the families of 50 Marines who have died in Iraq.
The President is leading with strength and certainty, so its a good time to be a Bushbot! ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island, and the Daily Dose!!
These are wonderful pictures.
Thanks!
My husband's friend (we both went to school with him) is stationed there...a Colonel in charge of deployment...keeping an eye out for him in the pics. :o)
Thanks!
There are some new freeper names on this thread...obviously i'm no longer in the loop! lol! Glad that one in particular got the boot ...
not if the dress was tailored in at the waist.
Well I'm sure that the Commander-in-Chief knows better than to eat that MILSPEC meat.
The President and his beloved soldiers is quite a site for sore eyes - bringing tears. Just once, just one time, wouldn't it be nice to see such a picture on the MSM news propaganda outlets? Had this been Clinton and the troops, you know it would be blabbed all over ABCCBSNBCMSNBCCNN.....but with our beautiful and wonderful President Bush - nothing, nada.
Their loss - but it is also the loss for the entire country and world to not be seeing him and the love his soldiers shower upon him - and visa versa.
OH and I meant to ask you what this Ohio Vote recount stuff is going to end up doing? I usually watch cspan if I am home during the day instead of at my job and today has been this kangaroo court hearing all about long lines at all the voting places in Ohio. Well, duh. There were long lines all over the country. WHAT A WHINEY BUNCH - they think long lines were on purpose designed. How do they know who gave up? How do they know it was not equally spread between all candidates? How dare they say this was designed to suppress the vote??? Or maybe it happened and people of all kinds who could not take the time to stay in line had to leave.. ...sorry but it happens in every state in every election. Please let me know your take on this hew and cry about a vote recount.........
Great Dose pictures, Ohio.
Saw the speech to the Marines yesterday - he was wonderful. He doesn't sugar coat the mission, he tells it like it is.
But, he also makes sure to tell of the GOOD that we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan, unlike the MSM creeps.
God bless and protect our awsome troops and our President.
Pat Buchannan...is that you???
LOL! That makes him a very smart husband and a smart President.
I agree - the belt might be okay but the color is wrong.
However, I love to see her in a suit with a fingertip jacket which is just slightly tailored to take advantage of her lovely figure.
Duncan Hunter for President in 2008.
Don't you know they don't want to hear any criticism? I myself made campaign contributions to the Bush-Cheney campaign and will reserve the right to be critical when the President goes Demonrat on us.
Never mind it was great to see it when I was checking email at work this morning; though I was getting a little worried about you last night as you normally post early; I was concerned in case you were ill.
This is not the thread to spout your anti George W Bush remarks.imho.There are some good things in that bill. I saw some of the highlights of it on C-span.I also emailed a rundown of it from C-Span's site.
The Dose is set apart for non-complainers. And no, we're not sheep.
Thank you kindly.
There was no intimidation. No fraud. (Unless you call the RATS registering Mary Poppins fraud. LOL!)
I haven't heard anyone talk about it locally. I think everyone knows it's nonsense and is ignoring it.
You've been around long enough to know what the Dose is about, and you know you're lying when you say any of us "don't want to hear any criticism."
The fact is that you do nothing BUT criticize, and hide behind that phony screenname of yours. (From what I've seen, you hate everyone named Bush, or at least think you're better than all of them).
Actually, if I were a betting woman, I'd bet you aren't even a conservative.
At any rate, this is NOT the thread for enemies of the President to gripe, and the mods enforce it. So if you're smart, you'll quit making false accusations, and go someplace where you can air your complaints. (Might I suggest DU or LP? They'll agree with you there).
