Fetal life does not attain a value equivalent to that of born persons? Then logically:
Babies do not attain a value equivalent to that of young children.
Young children do not attain a value equivalent to that of teens.
Teens do not attain a values equivalent to that of adults.
Adults do not attain a value equivalent to that of seniors.
The further you are into the process of development from conception to death, the more valuable you are.
=O!!!!! So a senior citizen can abort me?!?!?!?!
Actually, I believe Harry Blackmun wrote at the time he authored this horrid (and constitutionally invalid) opinion that, if it were ever shown that the fetus were a person, then all his word games would become moot and invalid.
Over the 30+ years since, medical science and technology has advanced to the point where it's obvious to anyone with one good eye and a grain of sense that the unborn child (fetus) is, in fact, a person. The pro-abortion lobby knows this and is scampering to find some other "shadow of a penumbra" under which to hide their evil. They overplayed their hand with the Partial Birth Abortion thing. People who hadn't really given the whole thing much thought beyond, "Well, sure, choice is good", saw what that procedure involved and began to look into what the whole range of abortion involved and didn't like it.
As for "Catholics for Free Choice", I suggest they "choose" another church.
