Then the worker asked another question. This article is a hoax. I've donated blood many times. The workers give you a questionnaire to fill out in a private cubicle. They don't ask these questions to your face.
The donor is also given every opportunity to secretly label his own blood sample.

For me it depends where I donate. At a Drive they always ask the questions, but at the center itself its done private
I donate blood at the drive, and in between donate platlets at the center

No longer true. I am also a regular donor and even though I fill out the questionnaire in private, the nurse also asks the same questions and watches as I place the sticker on the form. As a recipient of many needed transfusions as a child back in the 1940's due to a kidney ailment, I realize the importance of donating blood and do so regularly.

Then policy hasn't been followed when you donated. They are suppose to review all questions after you fill out the questionaire.
