At least four small bombs have gone off in four Spanish cities, following warnings from Eta Basque separatists. The blasts are reported to have occurred in Leon, Avila, Santillana del Mar and Ciudad Real in northern Spain.

The Basque newspaper Gara said it had received two calls warning that seven devices had been planted. Police managed to evacuate the targeted areas.

Five devices also exploded at petrol stations in Madrid on Friday, following an Eta bomb warning.

Let's see if the Spanish government (such as it is) give these terroristas what they want, now that it has been recorded that the Spanish government will eventually give in/up......

So much for LeftWing Appeasement Policies. This needs to be talked about on every Sunday Morning Talk Show by every foreign policy head in the Administration...co-opt the news. The impending EurArabia is seeing its future tactics being developed right now.

And then the Prez and VP need to swing through every Blue area, and give public speeches that blast this and other jihadist duplicity.

They should be publicly praising our troops who just cleared Fallujah, and talking about the tactics of the enemy, and publicly rebuke Dan Rather, Brokaw, and Jennings for not covering these.

And according to the Leftist version of events, Aznar's administration was thrown out of office for implying that the ETA organization might have had something to do with the train bombings.

Looks like Aznar might have been right doesn't it? Even if he was wrong about the train bombs, it's obviously POSSIBLE that the Basques did it. Probably the Islamic terror groups are working with the Basques.

Terrorists are terrorists, they figure they can overthrow the government and then fight amongst themselves later as to who will gain ultimate power.

Avila is the walled city that was featured in the Sinatra movie "Pride and the Passion"(?) based on C S Forester's novel "The Gun".

Now that the Spanish are acquainted with the effects of real bombs they may have even less regard for traditional ETA firecrackers.

What's a separatist to do?

Do they have the guts to fight off the Moors this time around? Methinks not.
