Given that Cal got beat and beat resoundly should put this debate to rest about whether they should have been in the Rose Bowl.

My newly purchased 10-gallon hat is off to Mack Brown and his Longhorns. I hope Pete Carroll/Norm Chow are preparing USC a hell of a lot better than Jeff Tedford prepared his Bears.

I think they don't like the fact that UT snagged the 1st of the NEW Rose Bowl trophies and brought it back here to TEXAS < /snicker, snicker > excellent observation! It's not just any old Rose Bowl that the Longhorns won, they did a "veni vidi vici" on their first try and brought the ultimate PAC-10 prize(collectible first edition) home to the Big 12.
