A female teacher who allegedly "married" a 14-year-old girl in a pagan ritual faces criminal-sexual conduct charges in Michigan.

Elizabeth Miklosovic, 36, of Grand Rapids faces a possible life sentence for her conduct with a former student at Baseline Middle School in South Haven, Mich., the Muskegon Chronicle reported.

"They also participated in witchcraft together," Detective Sgt. Dianne Oppenheim told the Michigan paper.

The Kent County Prosecutor's office issued warrants Thursday on first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, alleging Miklosovic, a seventh-grade language-arts teacher, was involved in illegal sex acts with the student at the teacher's Grand Rapids home.

The girl's family initially believed Miklosovic was trying to help the girl, described as emotionally troubled, the Chronicle said.

But the girl's uncle, outraged, says the teacher "brainwashed" her into thinking their actions were OK.

"It's heartbreaking to know [you put] your trust, your faith in a teacher, and this is how it goes," the uncle said. "[The girl] doesn't think a crime's been committed. She's plainly been brainwashed by her teacher."

The girl told police of five sexual encounters from June to October, the Muskegon paper said.

Miklosovic has a "nontraditional family," a neighbor told the paper, living with another woman and their adopted son.

Local residents expressed their anger to the Chronicle.

"If you can't trust your kid's teacher, who can you trust?" asked Monica Thompson, 24. "It appalled me. I heard about it on the news last night. A kid and a grown woman?"

A recent graduate of local South Haven High School, Mallory Spencer, told the Chronicle, "It's getting kind of scary now. I have a lot of friends who teach there. ... I'm kind of numb. You hear about so much these days, nothing surprises me."

The Chronicle said Miklosovic, who has worked for the district three years, was highly regarded by staff and students and had no previous criminal record in Michigan.

There are tens of thousands of former homosexuals. You don't have to be "gay". You can change your attraction to the same sex - saving you from the loneliness of never having a husband and children and grandchildren. Homosexuality is not genetic, it is not inborn, and it is a psychological and spiritual disorder; and like other disorders, healing can be achieved.

It is cruelty to young people to tell them that they "are gay" and cannot change. That is what causes depression and so on.

Even Taoism, traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda as well as modern research shows that same sex acts cause physical, mental and emotional illness. It is imbalancing due to the lack of polarity, and all the methods employed to acheive gratification are unhygenic and unhealthy.

My response: Why would you think that they only hear those voices, why do you think it is your duty to respond to that perception, and why would you bring up homosexuality in your classroom at all? If you care about actually teaching your topic, you'll do well to avoid/prevent any and all talk of that nature. On the rare occasion when a student refers to someone else in a derogatory fashion using sexual-orientation, I deal with it in the exact same manner as any other insult. There's no reason to even revert to the Seinfeldian, "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Looks as though a tag team signed on today, on a month old thread, promoting homosexuality as normal and natural and those of us who don't accept the lie as "haters".

Your spew won't go over well on FR. I suggest you click the links above - check out EdReform's post and click his links - and really try to learn the truth. You can change, homosexuality is Same Sex Attraction Disorder and you can be healed. If you want to be.

Meanwhile, it is against common sense, the service of truth, and human decency to allow homosexuals around children and young people.

Aw, crud, I never got to see what they wrote. Did I mess up the legal term's definition? I'm pretty sure it means you cannot assume someone did X simply because they have done X,Y, and/or Z in the past. Basically, just look at what they've done, not "who they are".

My neighbour was referring to the practice of men sodomizing each other. That was the exit to which she was referring. Hetero or homo, a truly unnatural and unhealthy practice.
