CNN's Rudi Bakhtiar met with Fox News brass earlier this week about a high profile position at the network, a source close to the situation said. She's telling friends she has an offer, and that Roger Ailes thought she was terrific. "She's a perfect fit with Fox -- she's a great anchor and is extremely camera friendly," the source said.

Typical male liberal attitude. Good grief!

I'd rather have the facts and not some sticking liberal with a cute face.

"Greta has Bell's Palsy."

Obviously, I did not know that. I'm not one to pick on the differently-abled.

But, no matter. I'll still share my beer with her. ;)

Wow! Now, if she only had a hat...
On second thought, there's no need. We do need to figure out the politics or whether or not she's just an actress reading the teleprompter, though.

From Fresno, no less, the ancestral home of this fine organization.

I don't know her, but she looks nice enough.

Greta more than carries her weight at FNC. She's a sharp cookie!

I hope Ailes can see through all that, and give her the finger.

Jealous? :)

Rudi's a Republican.

http://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/bakhtiar.rudi.html

Bakhtiar has been honored for her work, most recently, with the 2002 Iranian American Republican Council Achievement Award in recognition of Outstanding Achievements, Excellence and Accomplishments within the Iranian American community.

and the thing is, Fox could have given Monica Crowley more time - and she is intelligent and well spoken, she's not just an "infobabe" reading the teleprompter.

I only want Fox to hire good looking women who are also articulate and smart. Rudi is dumb as an ox. Why do you think CNN keeps her at Headline News?

Well, Robin Meade is also at Headline News, and she is quite articulate and bright--besides being drop-dead gorgeous. Behold:

the problem with crowley is that she is fine as a commentator, but i don't think she can carry the whole hour. she doesn't have that sense of humor and enough of a personality. another MSNBC hire that will go bad over time. Roger Ailes knows how to fix problems and make anchors into hits (e.g. O'Reilly, Hannity, Greta, etc.). idiots at MSNBC do not.

Yeah, Robin is a "fox," but an anchor (outside CNN HLN) has to do more than just read the teleprompter. You need to know the issues and be able to moderate a debate. If Robin is that good, why is CNN keeping her at HLN?

Why do you think CNN keeps her at Headline News?

Because she's good looking, smart and articulate. CNN is going through some changes. CNNfn is going off the air next week, and CNN Headline News is moving away from doing Headline News. Rudi I think is being told she's no longer needed at CNN.

She is a popular morning anchor. Maybe she gets them good ratings in the morning time slot--I don't know.

But, she's sharp as a razor and, imo, absolutely the most attractive woman on television.

She's a recognized member of the Iranian-American Republican Council, how is she a Democrat?

Rudi's a Republican.

She is not a Republican as in Ronald Reagan, She is a Republican as in "Republic of Iran."
