EU out to destroy Britain (with red tape and bureaucracy, says Europhile Minister)

EU out to destroy Britain
Europe Minister ... Denis MacShane
Europe Minister ... Denis MacShane

DENIS MacShane blasted Brussels yesterday for trying to “punish” Britain over its buoyant economy.

The Europhile minister accused eurocrats of trying to strangle Britain’s job market with bureaucracy.

Mr MacShane told EU ambassadors in London: “I am surprised at the desire of so many in Brussels to punish Britain.

“If you took out the UK contribution in growth and job creation, Europe’s economic performance statistics would be much worse.

“But what is the response of member states? It is to seek to destroy the active labour market Labour Britain is promoting.”

He said they were taking Britain towards “rigid labour markets” and “a made-in-Brussels straightjacket.”

His words stunned MPs. Shadow Europe Minister Graham Brady said: “Even the insanely federalist Denis MacShane appears to accept our EU partners are trying to bring Britain down to the level of their busted economies.

"Hopefully he will now admit the EU constitution would be bad for Britain.”

Mr MacShane said Labour has created two million jobs since 1997 — but accused Brussels of trying to torpedo this with red tape on work hours.

He added that other EU states had archaic work practices.

I'm happy to see that even the pro-EU Britons will speak up when Great Britain's interests, sovereignty and economy are at risk. Hopefully the Queen won't be cast away into the street too soon.

EU out to destroy Britian.....well duh!!!!

I could have told them that a year ago. Jeez, is this the same England that used to control most of the world. What the hell has happened to them.

France and Germany WANT TO CONTROL EUROPE, without firing a shot.

Lord, but the British seem to be slow on the up-take.

Sounds like the old Spirit of Hitter in the minds of the French and Germans, trying to take over Europe, just another date in time.
ENGLAND ? RENOUNCH THE EU and join the USA in a union.

The Brits have two choices - join the US and Australia in a union of english-speaking people, or be subsumed in euro-irrelevance. Notwithstanding the current leftward tilt of the Brits over Iraq, I think their historical mistrust of the continent will eventually lead them towards US.

It's not just Britain. The EU is out to destroy the whole free world and replace it with unelected rulers and totalitarianism. Behold the new Rome.

Perhaps it's time to make "Oceania" (see 1984) a reality--but without all the "Big Brother" stuff...

Do you think anyone would mind if the UK were renamed "Airstrip One?"

Explain to me, how can 480 million people just roll over and let their countries cease to exist?

Are they so blind that they can't see what France and Germany are up too? Or are they stupid?

It's extremely perplexing to me. I cannot fathom that we would give our country over to Canada.

Is there no national pride in ANY country in Europe anymore?

Behold the new Rome.

There are a lot of people saying - that's the US, today. The one-world gubment is inevitable. The Scriptures speak of a 10-sector world, I believe. Even by treaty, alone, that represent essentially a single world gubment. It's possible that it COULD come about from Britain creating a pan-Anglo alliance on a diagonal around the globe. It COULD come about by a repudiation of the United Nations. And the result, could be ultimately worse. The Scriptures speak of a Jewish anti-Christ, whom the Jews eventually reject, but only after they had embraced this golden calf, and only after the idol is cast down into the abyss. Same old story.

The Brits were a little reluctant to join the EU to begin with. Their fears are coming home to roost. Berlusconi, in spite of the strikes in Italy has more on the ball than the rest of the country and his opposition.

The Brits may well back out of the EU and it would be the Best thing not only for us but also for them. If the TAX cuts go thru in Italy and the Italian People see that the EU restrictions are actually the problem. Italy may pull out also.

The EU desperatly needs the hard working Britian's to bolster the socialist dream. Germany is carrying the load virtualy alone and is being crushed by the extra vacation time and boosted wages in France and Italy.

The only problem with the socialist dream is there is never enough Indians to support the way the Chiefs want to live. Perhaps the EU should take lessons from the Arabs?

Oh, never mind, they already thought of that. It is not a far step between the Socialist dream and the Mohammadian dream. Just add a little more efficient government structure, say a universal ID, and a short swearing in thing, something about Mohammad is God's prophet and there is no other and we will have a nice New World Order with plenty of slav, er dhimmis to support it.

Liberals will line up for the chance, after all there really isn't a God so He will not mind about that Mohammad thingie...

Will he?

"Why don't the Brits renounch the EU ,, and join the US in somekind of Union ???"

Well that is of course a possiblility, there are one or two small changes that you'll have to make first.

Like restoring Her Majestly THE QUEEN (Gawd bless her|!) to her monarchial duties over you all.

Oh and, learning to spell "colour" properly, you know that sort of thing.

You'll have to learn how to play proper football too, and stop calling it soccer.

;o)
