I'm happy to see that even the pro-EU Britons will speak up when Great Britain's interests, sovereignty and economy are at risk. Hopefully the Queen won't be cast away into the street too soon.

The Brits have two choices - join the US and Australia in a union of english-speaking people, or be subsumed in euro-irrelevance. Notwithstanding the current leftward tilt of the Brits over Iraq, I think their historical mistrust of the continent will eventually lead them towards US.

It's not just Britain. The EU is out to destroy the whole free world and replace it with unelected rulers and totalitarianism. Behold the new Rome.

Perhaps it's time to make "Oceania" (see 1984) a reality--but without all the "Big Brother" stuff...

Do you think anyone would mind if the UK were renamed "Airstrip One?"

The Brits were a little reluctant to join the EU to begin with. Their fears are coming home to roost. Berlusconi, in spite of the strikes in Italy has more on the ball than the rest of the country and his opposition.

The Brits may well back out of the EU and it would be the Best thing not only for us but also for them. If the TAX cuts go thru in Italy and the Italian People see that the EU restrictions are actually the problem. Italy may pull out also.

The EU desperatly needs the hard working Britian's to bolster the socialist dream. Germany is carrying the load virtualy alone and is being crushed by the extra vacation time and boosted wages in France and Italy.

The only problem with the socialist dream is there is never enough Indians to support the way the Chiefs want to live. Perhaps the EU should take lessons from the Arabs?

Oh, never mind, they already thought of that. It is not a far step between the Socialist dream and the Mohammadian dream. Just add a little more efficient government structure, say a universal ID, and a short swearing in thing, something about Mohammad is God's prophet and there is no other and we will have a nice New World Order with plenty of slav, er dhimmis to support it.

Liberals will line up for the chance, after all there really isn't a God so He will not mind about that Mohammad thingie...

Will he?
