Had the MSM fulfilled the role of an objective reporter of the campaign, not as a cheerleader with a partisan agenda, Bush would have won by probably 18% (the 3% he won by, plus an additional 15% for lack of media bias). A 59%-41% Bush vs. Kerry win -- a Reaganesque margin of victory -- sounds about right to me.
