Exactly. More important he should be on the list twice. He was Clarabell on Howdy Doody. I spent many an afternoon after school watching the antics of Buffalo Bob, Clarabell, Phineas T. Bluster, Pricess Summer Fall Winter Spring and of course Howdy!!!!

And where's Uncle Milte????

And Barney, Bert and Ernie, (both with bigger impact than 85% of the listed characters) Roy Rogers, Davy Crockett, (shaped a generation's sense of duty and honor--most of a generation anyway), Sgt. Saunders...easily in the top ten if you know about him.

This list is clearly put together by a metro-sexual committee of gen Xers who believe that nothing existed prior to their being here to witness it. All the fifties and most of the sixties characters are Nick at Night re-runs, that's how these kids even knew about them in the first place.
