A bit late, yes. Still it's nice to see some actual moderate Muslims somewhere other than Russia (and the handful scattered around Egypt, Western Europe and North America who get death threats for making speeches or writing editorials). Not the Chechen vermin, but a lot of the leaders of the Russian Muslims condemned 9/11 and speak against the Chechens and al Qaeda, not that it gets reported in the West.

20,000 is a nice number--a bit hard for the crazies to kill them all.

the good news are that the largest community of muslims in germany participated (ditib: turkish-islamistic office of religion). but the bad news are that the second largest and the third largest community refused to do so, hmm...

i do believe that THEY are against islamist violence, but they are not representative for ALL muslims and perhaps not even for the majority in germany...

Ok, glad to hear of it, but what really counts is turning in information that puts the thugs out of business.

Look no further than Iraq, where Muslim Iraqi national guardsmen are fighting and dying alongside our own troops against these gangs and thugs.

Kurds have been the victims of Muslim violence for decades / centuries. It is good to have them on our side. Perhaps some other persecuted muslims (Darfur, etc.) can join up against terrorism.
