For anyone missing the polls of the election season...here's one for ya:

Was Artest part of the corrupt Oil-for-Food program?
Is that you Mr. Artest?
If that helps
I agree. Some white players should be punished as well. I doubt very slightly that all the white boys just stood around when Artest, Jackson and Oneil were attacking fans. They better take a very close look at the tapes. I did notice that it was white people who were fighting the black players that attacked them. I am sure that Rev. Jackson can find a way to sue the fans who provoked the players.
Pacer it that a car? Why would they play basketballs with a car? Why would an artist named Ron play basketballs? Why did he wrap a present? Very confusing all this crazy stuff.
I worked in crowd control in college, and witnessed this several times, the major event being a "tearing down the goal posts" battle between students and university police.
This whole escapade would never have happened if there was proper security in the arena.
>>>I have been in attendance first hand when unwarranted mob violence erupted and spread like wild fire and believe me, it is the most frightening thing you could ever imagine. That is exactly what happened in Auburn Hills.
That looks like a later model Pacer. Too sleek looking from what I remember.
What if the NBA could "suspend" ticket sales for a game? I bet the Pistons' mgmt would take some steps to reign in their fans.
ESPN - Auburn Hills PD still investigating. Pistons may revoke some season tickets if season ticket holders were troublemakers.
Ditto. Any person paid multi-million dollar contracts is being well compensated to put up with more abuse than the average joe has to take. Ron Artest's punishment fit the crime.
One of the guys doing the fighting clearly had a press/or building laminate! Shouldnt take much investigation!
Pray for W and Our Troops
You know as well as I do that many of those season tickets are given out to friends, business contacts whatever.....
As I pointed out, that guy in the blue Wallace shirt was pretty much in the fray from the beginning to the end.....
For the sake of sports, I hope each and every thug identified throwing beer, popcorn or punches is identified, apprehended and prosecuted..........Personally, I don't know how they can successfully do it because from what I saw, there was sh#t raining down from practically everywhere.......
Scarry stuff man........
One of the signs that this is racist is that blacks are made to play so much and to be so much for entertainment. If whites didn't make blacks play basketball, they wouldn't be fighting.
Buut...he's a pasty white guy and there's no evidence he likes rap or hip hop, so I guess that penalty was appropriate.
Two different sports leagues run by two different organizations, each with their own, different set of rules for dealing with these types of player-fan incidents.
The two jokers on the court really got what was coming to them. The two biggest were the ball cap man with the Wallace shirt(who threw the beer) and that one guy with some sort of credential who jacked Fred Jones(An attempted peacemaker) with a suckerpunch. There were a couple of others, but the biggest one of all was the guy in the Wallace shirt. He's probably going to jail since he won't be hard to pick up. He had his hat off at one point as well.
Irony - Mr. "Bad Boy" Rick Mahorn was trying to break it up.
what have you been smokin?
Glad somebody else agrees with me on that. it must be some real good stuff.
