Psalm 119: 89-91
Your Word, O Lord, is eternal;
it stands firm in the heavens.
Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
You established the earth, and it endures.
Your laws endure in this day,
for all things serve You.

Holy Father,

Truly You are a great God, the one true God, our Father. You are the Author and Creator of life. You fashioned the universe and have already been to the end of the age. How great and awesome You are, Most High! We confess that we are unworthy to come before You of our own accord, but because we have accepted the redemptive gifts of our Savior, we are new creations, and have been made righteous through Jesus Christ. We bow before Your presence because You have bid us to pray. We love You, our Lord, because You hear our voices and our supplications, because You bow down Your ear unto us; therefore we shall call upon You all the days of our lives. May Your Name be glorified as we pray together on this Holy Sabbath.

Father, we come before You to pray for the hearts of the American people, that we would be turned away from the grievous sin of abortion, and proclaim a culture of life in this great nation. We boldly come before Your throne of grace to ask for an overthrow of the Roe decision within our Supreme Court. Father, we know the 40 million aborted babies have been a tremendous burden of sin upon our hearts---and a heavy burden of guilt has been cast upon this nation. We humbly ask for Your forgiveness and Your mercy upon us. O Lord, please turn the tide---just as You have done in the past. Great God, nothing is too difficult for You. We have seen Your mighty works in this election season and we proclaim Your awesome goodness and greatness. We ask for Your strong and unmistakable conviction of the people of this nation----including all members of NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, AAUW, as well as any of our churches which have failed to defend these precious innocents. We ask for Your divine guidance and intervention in the lives of those who are in the midst of "unwanted" pregnancies, and we pray for an end to the blindness and deafness---the deceit closeted in the euphemistic language of "Choice." O God, hear our prayers for the sake of these precious little ones who have no voice but that of those who recognize them as Your beautiful creations, deserving of life.

Father, please continue to abide in President Bush and Laura, providing everything he needs to lead this nation through these difficult times. Thank You that he serves a God who is faithful to all generations. Thank You that he finds his strength and wisdom in Your eternal Word. Please grant him great success and tremendous influence during his meetings with other world leaders in Chile. Give his cabinet members and his advisors hearts that are inclined to You, and let everyone involved in the decision-making seek Your will regarding each issue. Fortify President Bush with Your vision and help him to be far wiser than the enemies we now pursue. Give him the ability to communicate plainly and assuredly to the American people and Congress.

Father, defend those who have chosen to defend us. Our military men and women need the precious touch of Your hand upon their shoulders to show them the way and to comfort them. Grant them victories and accomplishments far more wonderful than they can imagine, and may Your Name be glorified as freedom is brought to the lives of the Iraqis.

Father, we enter this week with thankful hearts. Accompany us and guide us in every thought, word, and action today, Lord. Hear our prayers for protection, and help us to know that we abide under Your shadow. In the Precious Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Lord, please watch carefully over our President during his travels, as relationships in Chile are tenuous at best.
Amen.

Amen! Father, we confess Your Word over our President, and believe that You are his strength, his shield, his stronghold---his sure defense. You will not leave him or forsake him. You will not let his foot be moved, for You who keep him will not slumber. You are his keeper; You are his shade on his right hand. You will keep him from all evil; You will keep his life. Great God, we know Your Word is true, and it does not return to You void, but accomplishes what You please. In the Name of Jesus, we thank You for Your wonderful watchcare over our President. Amen.

Praying your powerful prayer with you, Faith. Amen and Amen!

Lord, we pray especially for the safety of our President, First Lady, and those who accompany them on their trip to Chile. We are concerned at the happenings there but we put our trust in You. We know that Your eye is upon Your servant and that he is in Your safekeeping.

Father, we always remember our troops, especially those in harm's way in Afghanistan and Iraq. Give them the courage and the cunning to defeat a devious enemy who hides behind the innocent and commits deeds almost too evil to comprehend. Heal those who have suffered injuries and bring peace, Your peace, to those who have witnessed horrors we can't even imagine. Wrap Your arms of Love around the families who have lost loved ones in battle for a just and noble cause. Amen.

Psalm 3

1 LORD, how they have increased who trouble me!
        Many are they who rise up against me.
        2Many are they who say of me,
        "There is no help for him in God." Selah

        3But You, O LORD, are a shield for me,
        My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
        4I cried to the LORD with my voice,
        And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah

        5I lay down and slept;
        I awoke, for the LORD sustained me.
        6I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
        Who have set themselves against me all around.

        7Arise, O LORD;
        Save me, O my God!
        For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone;
        You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
        8Salvation belongs to the LORD.
        Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah

"Do you know this from of old, from the establishment of man on earth, that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the godless momentary?" Job 20:4-5

Precious Heavenly Father, thank You for your Son Jesus Christ, and thank You for saving us! As we grow closer to You and our minds become more the mind of Christ, we find that we cannot abide wickedness and sin. Not because we are righteous in ourselves, no, but because you reached down, lifted us out of the filth, saved us and justified us, and gave us a new heart. We are nothing in ourselves Lord. Everything is because of You! Thank You for Your Word, it is truth! Thank You for taking the veil of deception away so that we can see! Lord, we ask for the millions in this nation who do not know You yet, and that they, too, would know the truth. We pray for a "Great Awakening" in this land, just as You performed many decades ago. We stand and pray with dear Faith that the abomination of abortion would be ended in this country, because people will see the truth and realize what it is. For all those precious confused women who chose abortion out of desperation, we pray they would find forgiveness and salvation in You. For those who stridently and vehemently defend this heinous "choice", we pray conviction and repentance.

Lord, also, please continue daily to guard and shield our President, his body, soul and spirit.

Lord we love You, and praise You and glorify Your great Name, the name of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, Amen.

AMEN FAITH AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE TO YOU BRETRHEN AND A GOOD LORD'S DAY!

Ps 114:1 When Israel went out of Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
2 Judah became His sanctuary, And Israel His dominion.
3 The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back.
4 The mountains skipped like rams, The little hills like lambs.
5 What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back?
6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters.
(NKJV)

2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? --I speak as a fool--I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.
24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one.
25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;
26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness--
28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.
(NKJV)

"Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him."
- John 12:2

He is to be envied. It was well to be Martha and serve, but better to be
Lazarus and commune. There are times for each purpose, and each is comely
in its season, but none of the trees of the garden yield such clusters as
the vine of fellowship.
To sit with Jesus, to hear his words, to mark his acts, and receive his
smiles, was such a favour as must have made Lazarus as happy as the
angels.
When it has been our happy lot to feast with our Beloved in his
banqueting-hall, we would not have given half a sigh for all the kingdoms
of the world, if so much breath could have bought them.

He is to be imitated. It would have been a strange thing if Lazarus had
not been at the table where Jesus was, for he had been dead, and Jesus had
raised him. For the risen one to be absent when the Lord who gave him life
was at his house, would have been ungrateful indeed. We too were once
dead, yea, and like Lazarus stinking in the grave of sin; Jesus raised us,
and by his life we live-can we be content to live at a distance from him?
Do we omit to remember him at his table, where he deigns to feast with his
brethren? Oh, this is cruel! It behoves us to repent, and do as he has
bidden us, for his least wish should be law to us.
To have lived without constant intercourse with one of whom the Jews
said, "Behold how he loved him," would have been disgraceful to Lazarus,
is it excusable in us whom Jesus has loved with an everlasting love? To
have been cold to him who wept over his lifeless corpse, would have argued
great brutishness in Lazarus.
What does it argue in us over whom the Saviour has not only wept, but
bled? Come, brethren, who read this portion, let us return unto our
heavenly Bridegroom, and ask for his Spirit that we may be on terms of
closer intimacy with him, and henceforth sit at the table with him.

C.H. SPURGEON

SOLI DEO GLORIA!

Dear Lord, please, open the president's eyes and visit him this year with a gift called "ethics" which will allow him to see that slavery is slavery whatever the word used to avoid naming the circumstance. Give him the insight to understand that selling out american workers servicing Americans to Foreigners is actually wrong - so that he can see the issue from the eyes of the 70% of us that already understand that. Open his eyes so that he can see the reason for illegal immigration and the damage it's doing to my fellow Americans. We are being dispossessed of the legacy we've built over long years by politicians who care only for the profit motives of their campaign contributors. Lord, I've been disposessed of my livelihood by the leave of this man and his policies. Help him to correct this so that the next person isn't so abused by government intervention.

Ok, tough one lord, I know. Perhaps we can settle for just infusing the man with ethics so that he'll understand that caring for someone extends beyond making sure they're alive.
So that he can see that protecting us from enemies with Guns is no less important than protecting us from suits with pens and percentages - selling us out to profits made on the backs of slaves and foreign labor. And make it easier for others to understand lord. Some just don't get the notion that taking a man's job from him and handing it to a foreigner who now services his next door neighbor is wrong. Perhaps if we marched the politicians out of their offices and filled their offices with citizens of Mexico and India..
Lord, help us.

Our Most Gracious And Kind Heavenly Father, once again I join my sisters and brothers in Christ to proclaim Your Holy Name, and to thank You for the blessings of this week. Dear Lord, we pray for President Bush and his family. We are truly blessed to have a leader who professes his faith in You. For that we are so thankful.

Dear Lord, we pray for our military men and women who are fighting to defend this great country. We pray especially for the families who are grieving tonight for loved ones who gave their life for our freedom.

We pray especially for the mother and her child who was born just hours before the father was killed, never knowing he had a son. May this child grow up knowing that his father was loved by all.

As we start another week we pray for Your forgiveness of sins and that we will strive to serve You in everything we do.

We ask these blessings in Your Son's Precious Name, Amen.

To: Faith; All

Lord, again I think you for the miracle you performed for us not three weeks ago. It did not have to be so, and we have not forgotten nor will we forget. America easily could have been lost forever under the hand of a cynical opportunist with few decent convictions.

It is clear you have further plans for our nation. I pray that your perfect will is done, beginning with matters of the heart. Reform us from within. Give us new hearts to seek you, new minds to consider your ways. Guide us in the way we should go, for your name's sake. Save every soul, every life. Rebuild our institutions and associations. Create among us a culture that values truth and life, righteousness and compassion.

There is much to accomplish, and we are entirely dependant upon you. Glorify yourself through your kindness to us, we pray.
