She is an ally but she is NOT a conservative. We should welcome refugees like her from the Left, but in NO way should they dictate our agenda. You are correct, too, in your assumption of my anti-Giuliani bias against a Presidential bid for him under Republican endorsement.
Besides me, half of the grassroots would sit out the election - and you know it.

I grieve at the slaughter of innocents that has been going on in our country. Our church is actually doing something about it.
We are funding a center for women facing crisis pregnancies. We provide financial and moral support for women who chose not to have an abortion. I have supported such centers in New York as well. We recently took in a woman who had been thrown out on the street because she refused to have an abortion. We are waiting around for politicians to stem the tide of abortions.
Overturning Roe v. Wade will not stop abortions when women can take a plane to Canada or Mexico, have their legal abortion and be back in time to watch Jay Leno. The court battle will only make the layers richer and go on for decades. You can prevent abortions today by supporting a church or synagogue that reaches out to women facing crisis pregnancies.
