I thought about that too. The Bush's entered first. One would suppose that SS agents would have gone in ahead of them. Could be the remaining agents who were held up at tyhe door were not known/recognized by the Chilean security service, who were there to provide security also for their President. What a mess. However, if an assasination plot was underway, preventing the entry of the lead security agents might have been part of the plan. This could have been an actual attempt against President Bush or even a "dry run". God help us.

Your point is well taken. And I apologize for my earlier comment.

I was concerned before, but watching the video shows that things were very wrong.

Even after Bush went back, he physically had to pull his SS agent through the Chilean security guys, trying to prevent his entrance.

Some of the articles actually mentioned that :

"For a few seconds Bush met resistance from the Chilean officers."

I just hooked up my backup computer and watched the video. If the guys were hellbent on violence against President Bush, they could have taken him right when he walked through the door. I'm chalking it up to miscommunication between two hyper-sensitive security details. I can't even imagine the pressure of holding, and attending, an economic summit like that with all those anarchist freaks poised for trouble.

No problem, I just try to keep positive fun energy from being tainted by "F.U.D.".
