These bombers had added fuel capacity. After the 9/11 attack, President Bush called Putin and told him to cancel the exercise. He did. However, what if the 9/11 attacks were successful in decapitating our government? Do you think Putin would have stilled cancel the nuclear bomber exercise or gone for the kill?
